PSTN lines can be configured for a number of uses such as Fax / ADSL etc.
ISDN Lines are high quality reliable services that Australian business's have enjoyed for a number of years.
ISDN stands for (Integrated Services Digital Network) and they are available in two main types for Voice calls:

These services can be combined together generally cost effectively up to four (4) BRI ISDN services together giving a maximum of eight (4 x2=8) x simultaneous calls.
b) PRI (Primary Rate Interface) - gives ten to thirty channels per service - allowing a maximum of thirty (30) calls per PRI ISDN service.

With Xcomm's solutions and startegies you can start enjoying the VoIP revolution NOW whilst in most instances keeping your current Telephone System.
Indeed VoIP in some circles is still considered a high-risk proposition, particularly as the market is flooded with cheap, low quality, unreliable carriers using the open internet to route call traffic.

There is no question of the benfits of VoIP, once business see the call cost savings, line rental savings, free calling between multiple sites or to remote employees and the features of an IPPBX, they are naturally drawn to this new technology and with the Australian Government dedicated to ensuring multiple "Ethernet" connections via the NBN project to Australian premises, the future of VoIP is assured.
